Then, greetings from the outskirts of Urdaneta, Pangasinan, where Partas Transit has left me stranded…
And finally, greetings from my sickbed in Agoo, La Union, where I’m still recovering from a sudden… but in hindsight perhaps not unexpected… bout with the Flu.
Along the way, I had access to the internet by the good graces of the Victolero and Migraso families (from Davao and Cubao, respectively), and I’d like to thank them profusely for enabling me to write the first drafts of last week’s article for thelandofjuan.
But alas, this, my fourth piece for thelandofjuan, is a full week late. Just like I’ve seriously overestimated my body’s ability to handle the stress of the last week and still come back to my regular work routine and the strains of Ilocos heat, it seems I’ve overestimated my ability to come up with an entry within a given amount of time.
So alas, I must apologize, dear readers, that I’m more than my usual few hours late with this post-Easter entry. (more…)
